I’m Luis Ammerman, and I’m beyond excited to share with you my very first novel, In the Arms of the Enemy, released on June 17, 2020 (paperback) and June 26, 2020 (Kindle). Writing this book has been a thrilling journey — full of twists, turns, and of course, a little bit of romance.

Set against the turbulent backdrop of the American Revolutionary War, this story follows Corey and Miranda—two people on opposite sides who find themselves thrown together by fate, danger, and unexpected love. I wanted to explore what happens when enemies become allies, when hearts break down barriers, and how love can bloom even in the darkest of times.

This book is close to my heart because it combines history, mystery, and romance — all the ingredients that hooked me as a reader growing up. I hope you feel that same spark as you follow Corey and Miranda’s story.
